Some Links
It’s been a year to the day since I last did a Tuesday Morning Links post. Unfortunately, it’s a little late in the day to give it that tag, but here are a few places you might want to check.
My friends at Popdose are now on the radio (gee, I wonder where they got that idea?). Listen to my good friend and Popdose New Music Editor Ken Shane on Overnight America with Jon Grayson.
Meanwhile, on their site, Jon Cummings has a fantastic interview with Marshall Crenshaw.
Greg Kot has some superbitchincool news about Springsteen’s upcoming performance in Chicago. Last Friday I picked up floor seats for the show in Ft. Lauderdale on September 13, so if I can do the same for this show, I might never recover.
Michael Shelley of WFMU did a great interview this past weekend with the incredible Robbie Fulks, who also brought his guitar along.
No disprespect to my wonderful niece and nephews, but this may be the single coolest kid in the history of the universe.
Could somebody with authority please declare William Shatner a national treasure?
And continuing the Soul Train theme I began the other day, here’s Aretha singing (not lip-syncing, as was usually the case on the show) Rock Steady.
