Wings For Wheels

Two and a half months ago, I posted a few videos of classic bits from late-night TV. Since then, every once in a while my mother has asked me to look for one moment or another from an old episode of Johnny Carson that she remembers from back in the day. I had held off on posting them until a proper opportunity, and today’s news of the death of Dom DeLuise, sad though it may be, is as good a time as any to release this on all of you. This was from September 26, 1974.

A few weeks before Mom asked me to find this, she told me about a time when Carson and Burt Reynolds got into a whipped cream fight. Naturally, it was up on YouTube. I just watched it again and realized that Reynolds tosses DeLuise an egg. Sure enough, it was the SAME EPISODE!
