Episode 47: The Twin Cities With Tim & Michele
“I knew a girl from Minneapolis-St. Paul. She was known as “The Tail of Two Cities. ” – Groucho Marx

Originally, my idea was to do Minnesota vs. DC, similar to the Boston vs. New York episode a few months ago. Then I realized that there were too many great Minnesota bands that would have to be excluded in order to make that happen. Besides, it wouldn’t be a fair fight.
This was one of the toughest shows to edit, but it was also an awful lot of fun, because I kept flashing back to that night, drinking Captain and Coke (the reason why I become less and less coherent as the show goes on) and hanging out with good friends. I hope you all enjoy it as much as we did.
In the future, I’m doing a Podsafe show in two weeks, and after that I’ll have an interview with an up-and-coming band I think you’re going to like.

One of the best Groucho lines – ever!
I named that tune in 2 notes.
You wouldn’t have if I had opened with Husker Du’s version of it…
Dad’s to thank/blame for the Groucho quote. He reminded me of it when I was telling him about the trip.
