Bruce Springsteen’s ‘Radio Nowhere’ Set for October 2nd release on Columbia Records.
Release is the first album of new songs recorded with the E Street Band since 2002’s Grammy Winning “The Rising”
‘Radio Nowhere,’ Bruce Springsteen’s first all-new studio recording with the E Street Band since the highly acclaimed 2002 release ‘The Rising’, is set for release by Columbia Records on October 2, 2007. The album once again finds Springsteen working with the grammy winning producer Brendan O’Brien and features 10 new songs and the E Street Band version of ‘How Can a Poor Man Stand Such Times’. ‘Radio Nowhere’ was recorded this year at Southern Tracks Recording in Atlanta, GA with the E Street Band, whose members are: Roy Bittan – keyboards; Clarence Clemons – saxophone, percussion; Danny Federici – keyboards; Nils Lofgren – guitars; Patti Scialfa – vocals, guitar; Garry Tallent – bass; Steven Van Zandt – guitars; Max Weinberg – drums. Additional musicans featured include several performers who joined Springsteen on the record and tour of the highly acclaimed ‘Seeger Sessions’ project. These include

The CD will be released on the ‘Dual Disc’ format and the DVD side features a hi-definition 1080p ‘Radio Nowhere’ featurette with studio outtakes of all songs including 4 bonus tracks TBD. Additionally, it features 5.1 sound.
A worldwide tour is planned beginning in October. No other information is available at this time. Bruce Springsteen calls the set of new songs “Some of the most upfront rock n’ roll I have ever created. I’m excited for my fans to hear it and for the band to blow through people’s towns and give them a show second to none.”
