In Honor Of Liverpool Football Club

After today’s victory over Manchester United, perhaps they should change their theme song from You’ll Never Walk Alone to this one.

And yeah, I know that those pictures didn’t come from today’s game, but I can’t keep track of all of Torres’ goals against the Mancs nor Vidic’s red cards against Liverpool.

Hey Dave — just a peek in re: an album I heard for the first time today. If you haven’t yet heard _She’s About To Cross My Mind_ by The Red Button, pick it up and give it a listen. It’s admittedly *very* derivative of 60s pop a la Beatles and Lovin’ Spoonful; but that doesn’t change the fact that these are very well written songs, performed impeccably. And it’s a lot of fun too.

Bootsy, I went to their myspace page and got 15 seconds into their first song before deciding I need to have this.

    Thanks!

You can get ~1 min 30 sec of each song on the album on their website (www.theredbutton.net), through an oddly charming flash app (and that’s an expression I never, ever thought I’d say, since I generally hate flash).

It turns out I had Cruel Girl from a Little Steven’s Underground Garage CD. One less eMusic credit to use…
