Various Stuff
First off, September has been the busiest month in terms of traffic here at WFW. Both of the previous two weeks have resulted in new records for hits (beginning with the host switch in July 2008), and I want to thank everybody who has linked or retweeted my posts in this time. For those of you who have discovered this site because of the Springsteen-related content, welcome, and, although this blog isn’t entirely dedicated to Springsteen, I do hope you’ll become a regular reader and commenter.
Second, last month I mentioned that I was about to join up with another website for a new project. To the surprise, I’m sure, of none of you, that site is Popdose, and in the next few days, the first episode of the Popdose Podcast will be online. I finished putting it together today and am very happy with the result. The format is a lot looser and involves less prep work on my end than the WFW show. Basically, it’s very similar to the two times that Jason and Jeff were on WFW, and we’re going to build from there. I’ll let you know when it’s all ready to go.
And, since you’ve made it this far, here’s a video tribute to one of my all-time favorite television characters.

All of that from just 12 episodes – it’s one of the very few DVDs I still own.
And they still even left out one of my favorite bits.
Basil: There is too much butter on those trays.
Manuel: Not “On those trays.” Uno, dos, tres.
